In this episode
In this episode I'm getting personal about something that has changed everything for me this year — my calendar. As women, so many of us spend years saying yes to everyone and everything else, and one day we look up and realize our calendar is really just a reflection of our priorities. So I'm asking you the question I had to ask myself: if someone looked at your calendar, what would they see?
I walk you through the three calendar adjustments I finally made — scheduling what matters most first, building in real margin, and prioritizing community and growth. These aren't big dramatic overhauls. They're small, doable shifts that create space for purpose, relationships, health, and the work that matters most. I love that one good adjustment can move the needle.
I also share a little about the new Sharing Passion and Purpose community on Skool and the upcoming Tulsa-area Inner Circle, because we were never meant to do life or business alone. Growth happens in proximity to other incredible people. Take ten minutes this week, look at your next two weeks, and ask yourself: does this schedule reflect the woman I am becoming? Keep going — your life changes when your calendar changes.
Key takeaways
- Your calendar tells the story of what you actually value — not your intentions, but where your time goes.
- Adjustment #1: Schedule what matters most FIRST. Put your non-negotiables (family, wellness, planning time) on the calendar before everyone else's priorities crowd in.
- If something is truly important, it deserves a place on your calendar — not just your to-do list.
- Adjustment #2: Create margin. Not every hour needs to be productive and not every opportunity requires a yes. Margin is wisdom, not laziness.
- Adjustment #3: Prioritize community and growth — make room for conversations and relationships that inspire and challenge you.
- Every yes is a no to something else, so choose wisely.
- Start small: take ten minutes to review your calendar for the next two weeks and make just one adjustment.
